Karat at the Summer Fancy Food Show!

Earlier this week 24,000 foodservice professionals and foodies flocked to the Walter E Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. for the 57^th Annual Summer Fancy Food Show. The Summer Fancy Food Show is the largest marketplace for specialty foods, beverages, and foodservice professionals. Karat® was excited to be a part of this year’s show as it marked its first year in Washington D.C.

This year’s show introduced exhibitors, foodservice professionals, and D.C. locals to over 180,000 products including confections, cheese, coffee, oils, snacks, desserts, and other intriguing foodservice products. With more than 320,000+ square feet of exhibitor space, 2,400 exhibitors, and over 80 countries represented on the floor—there was definitely something for everyone.

We here at Karat® were on the exhibitor floor showcasing our collection of both generic and custom printed food containers (Cherry on Top), PET cups (Wetzel’s Pretzels), paper hot cups (La Brea Bakery), and paper cold cups (Juice it Up).

Along with all the activity going on the exhibitor floor, we hope you got the chance to attend one of the many food education programs, spot a celebrity chef, or watch a food demonstration.
